2pm – Ceremony
3pm – Pre-Afternoon Tea Pimms
3:30pm-5pm – Afternoon Tea
5-6pm – Speeches, more afternoon tea
6:30pm – Evening Guests Arrive & Cash Bar Opens
7pm onwards – Hog Roast
8pm – Cutting the Cake
8:30pm – First Dance
8:30pm onward – Dancing & Drinking
11:15pm – Last Orders at the Bar
11:30pm – Music Finishes
Carriages by Midnight
Where is it?
The ceremony will be held at Park House, Horsham. There is ample surface and multi-story car parking around the venue. We suggest Hurst car park which is behind the venue, and a short walk through a local park.
The reception is being held at The Queens Hall, Cuckfield. There is some parking around the venue, but we are expecting it to be a little in short supply. There are two surface car parks – one behind the hall off the high street, next to the recreation ground, and one about 200 yards away. Road parking is unrestricted.
Accomodation
There is little accommodation in Cuckfield unless you fancy Ockenden Manor (at £200 a night+!). However there are a number of local hotels, here are some suggestions.
– Premier Inn, Burgess Hill
– The Birch Hotel, Haywards Heath
– The Hickstead Hotel, Hickstead
– Travelodge Hickstead
Late Night Transport
Cuckfield is a small rural village – therefore (unfortunately) there is not an excess of late night transport. We are investigating options, but highly recommend organising transport in advance.
